and Engineering
Transport Phenomena
in Biology and Devices
BioMEMS and
Biomaterials
Multiple projects explore these
four themes. The proposed studies are multidisciplinary efforts to investigate basic biology and technology related to the
bioscience and engineering interface. They range in scale from molecular to cellular to whole animal, each with its own relevance
to NASA’s goals.
